Following the fear prone into heaven

The chorus in the chicken coupe, now that 65% of Australians have said yes to a really simple question on who should be allowed to love,  is decidedly panicky .

You might have thought a great calm might have come over those who,  after 22 knockdowns have finally got the step they wanted .

While Henny Penny Wong is up to her usual tricks of saying  the sky is falling  (In this case  if the legislation isn't passed by Christmas ) the strangest thing is happening - all the chooks are feeding on the same brief ;  turkey before Christmas.

Too bad if it goes against sound parliamentary principles
the yes advocates don't believe there has been any bullying ..

No bullying eh? So you think a two week sitting period is enough to do 1st 2nd 3rd readings and committee meetings B4 Christmas? Now that would show real respect for the 40% who voted no -- wouldn't it!

I think Turnbull and Brandis and their  lilly liveried crew are more worried about not being reelected than retaining any credibility they might have once thought they once had .
After all,  its only the religious they are knocking back and they are mad anyway, Well  If not mad just backward .
The whole chorus is party progressive and the rush is on because that's the sort of songs they sing at their church . .
